About the role
Acolad is looking for a strategic and hands‑on HR Business Partner to support our teams across Italy. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to local managers, ensuring HR practices align with business goals and comply with Italian employment regulations. You will oversee the full employee lifecycle, drive initiatives that foster engagement and wellbeing, and play a key role in employee relations, payroll supervision, and HR process optimization. This is a high‑impact position ideal for an experienced HR professional with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for building inclusive, high‑performing workplaces.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic partner to local managers, providing guidance on HR matters and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Support the governance of all HR‑related topics in collaboration with the Regional HRBP, ensuring consistency and compliance.
Apply deep knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices in Italy to guide managers and employees effectively.
Manage the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring exceptional employee experiences.
Act as a coach to managers, empowering them to foster growth, development, and performance within their teams.
Drive initiatives to promote a culture of dialogue, feedback, and collaboration within the organization.
Oversee employee wellbeing and advocate for a healthy, inclusive, and dynamic workplace environment.
Lead conflict resolution and employee relations, ensuring fair and timely resolutions.
Play a pivotal role in payroll supervision and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
Travel between our offices in Bologna, Rimini and Milan as needed to ensure a strong HR presence and employee engagement.
Drive continuous process improvement in HR operations, leveraging tools such as JIRA and SAP to resolve operational demands efficiently.
Present engaging monthly HR business updates to employees locally, fostering transparency and alignment with company objectives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience (5+ years) in HR business partnering, ideally within multinational environments.
Solid understanding of HR policies, processes, and legal compliance (especially in Italy).
Expertise in employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and partner with stakeholders at all levels.
Strategic mindset with a hands‑on approach, adept at balancing operational HR duties with long‑term HR initiatives.
Fluency in both English and Italian (additional languages a plus).
High emotional intelligence and a solution‑oriented approach to challenges.
Ability to navigate fast‑paced environments with adaptability and resilience.
Experience with HR systems and payroll management.
Familiarity with HR metrics and reporting to support data‑driven decision‑making.
