At Costa, we foster an environment of open communication, positivity, and support built on trust and transparency.How You’ll Live Your AmbitionAs an HR Shipboard Administration Specialist, you will handle payroll processing, salary calculations, allowances, tax and social security deductions, and manage recruitment and termination administrative tasks.Manage personnel administration, unemployment procedures, and interface with INPS.Coordinate health insurance documentation for seafarers in Italy before boarding.Negotiate and resolve complex personnel issues.Administer unemployment and pension procedures in compliance with INPS regulations.Manage insurance processes for seafarers before and after boarding.Collaborate with health-related disembarkation consultants.Get things rightAccurately process pay slips according to regulations.Handle payroll activities, including payments, inquiries, and documentation.Verify payroll data and manage employment termination documentation.Oversee insurance processes and documentation with the Ministry of Health.What Makes You UniqueDegree in Economics, Business Management, or Administration.Minimum one year of personnel administration experience in international settings.Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).Knowledge of accounting, administration, and IT for salary processing and tax compliance.Strong analytical skills using Excel and Zucchetti.Attention to detail, numerical aptitude, and reliability.Fluent in English, with a commitment to diversity.Experience with unemployment procedures, INPS interfacing, and seafarer health insurance.Excellent organizational, time-management, and administrative skills.Ability to manage insurance processes pre- and post-boarding.Exceptional communication skills and pragmatic problem-solving abilities.Why CostaYour role influences our business strategy.Work at our Genoa office with flexible remote work options.Diversity, Equity & InclusionCosta celebrates diversity and inclusion, valuing all backgrounds and cultures.
