The Corporate Health and Safety Specialist – Process safety will be responsible for ensuring that the organization complies with occupational health and safety regulations at all levels. The role focuses on the development, implementation, and management of safety programs to minimize risks, improve safety performance, and promote a safety culture across multiple sites. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a safe working environment.Key Responsibilities :Safety Program Management : Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and programs in line with company standards and legal regulations.Process Safety Management : Participate in, or lead risk studies, provide oversight and support of process hazard analysis, such as : HAZID, HAZOPS, compliance reviews, or insurance surveys. Support sites completing / reviewing Process Hazard Analysis of highly hazardous reactions.Cross-Department Collaboration : Develop a partnership with Engineering and Operation functions to help manage change, assure safety and compliance of new systems, and assist in setting requirements to assure safe startup.Risk Assessment : Perform regular behavior-based site inspections and risk assessments, providing guidance on hazard identification, risk mitigation, and safety improvements.Continuous Improvement : Collaborate with site teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement, implementing best practices and innovative solutions to improve health and safety performance.Audits : Participate in Global HSE audits and HSE due diligence, ensuring that all facilities meet local occupational health and safety laws and standards, and work to resolve any compliance issues promptly.Incident Investigation : Investigate workplace incidents, near-misses, and accidents to identify root causes, recommend corrective actions, and ensure implementation.Training and Education : Develop and deliver health and safety training programs for employees and management, ensuring a high level of awareness and understanding of safety protocols.Reporting : Maintain accurate and detailed records of all safety-related activities, incidents, and investigations. Prepare reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.Your Profile | Qualifications :Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Chemical engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.5+ years of experience in health and safety management, preferably in a chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations.Proven experience with risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety auditing.Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.Ability to travel to various company sites as needed.J-18808-Ljbffr
