OverviewJoin to apply for the Head Pastry Chef role at The Carlton, a Rocco Forte hotelAs a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing pastry operations while maintaining a very high level of food standards for our Guests and a safe and inspiring work environment for the staff.Reports to: Head Chef.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the Executive Chef for the pastry production of restaurant, bar, banqueting and room service achieving and maintaining the brand standards and exceeding Guests’ expectationsProvide a proactive approach to training, planning, assigning and delegating workEncourage elevated performance, leads by example, and disciplines employees for the purpose of improving the Pastry Department standards of excellenceGuarantee continuous monitoring of quality with attention to detailsCompliance with health and safety regulationsKnowledge and ability to produce traditional desserts and pastries belonging to the traditionWe offerPermanent contract according to C.C.N.L. Settore TurismoLearning & development activities and career opportunitiesOpportunity to stay in one of our hotels at a reduced rate (35€ per night) upon reaching 6 working months. You will also be entitled to 50% discount at bars and restaurants of the Company and 20% discount on wellness treatments at our Spa and on products "Irene Forte"Collaboration: Be able and willing to work as a team within the department and with other departmentsPersonal Effectiveness & Communication: Demonstrate self-control and present information clearly and with confidencePersonal development: Be open to and accept constructive feedback and use it to improve.
