OverviewBusiness Development Director, Up to 150,000 Euros + Strong Commission, Italy Region (Full Remote Working).Overview of the Business Development DirectorThe purpose of the Head of Business Development is to lead our clients expansion in the European market (Italy). This role will take full responsibility for identifying and prospecting new clients against a pipeline and using consultative sales skills in meetings, to learn about prospects challenges and to gain a deep understanding of the client’s product portfolio. The Head of Business Development is a hands on position and comes with fully remote working, therefore the successful candidate can be based anywhere in Italy (although close to Milan would be the ideal).The CompanyThis company is a global creative sales & promotions consultancy that specialises in designing and executing innovative promotional campaigns to drive consumer sales, enhance brand recognition, and increase profit margins. Established in 2006, the company has seen very strong growth and they have built a reputation for delivering compelling, bespoke promotional solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.Business Development Director DutiesIdentifying new opportunities to expand the Company’s network specifically in the Italian and European MarketsWorking with the Marketing team to develop a pipeline of prospectsProviding a consultative approach to selling, with demonstration of understanding of clients’ product portfolio, business objectives and the challenges they face in their marketAssisting new clients in creating promotional strategy to develop differentiation in the marketplaceAnalysing promotional trends and regularly presenting insights to new clients, using this as an opportunity to sellActing as the key contact for new clients within their regionDelivering against quarterly and full year GP targetsForecasting accuracy + / - 95%Ensuring legal documentation is signed and approved within deadlinesDemonstrating and working to the company’s values and behavioursKeep the CRM system updated with the status of prospects, leads and campaigns as instructedIdeal Experience / What\'s in your DNA?Minimum 2 years’+ new business hunting experience with proven success in winning new businessMinimum 2 years’+ experience working within the IT or Promotional Sales sector (preferred)Commercial acumen with previous P&L management experienceMS Office experience (essential)A passion to go above and beyond for clients at all timesCreative, outgoing, able to motivate and inspire othersCompetitive, self-motivated and driven to succeedOutstanding interpersonal, communication and influencing skillsExcellent business development skills and sales acumenAttention to detail with analytical / statistical analysis skillsFluency in both Italian and English Language is essentialEnquiring mind ready to challenge the status quo
