Join to apply for the Head of Bancassurance Development role at GeneraliWithin the Group Chief Transformation Office function, we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the Group Bancassurance Team.The job holder will contribute to further develop the Bancassurance business in the Group by working closely with Business Units to scout, screen and analyze new bancassurance opportunities across geographies. Moreover, the candidate will cooperate with other stakeholders within the Group to structure the partnership agreements and to ensure a smooth internal approval process.Key responsibilities of the role will include:Cooperating and proactively developing, jointly with BU, relationships with local and international banks to further extend bancassurance market presence and to strengthen existing bancassurance partnershipsEnsuring on-going screening, intelligence, collection and prioritization of new bancassurance opportunities in line with Group appetite and Group strategic priorities and in cooperation with Group Business UnitsManaging own set of relationships with Investments Bankers/Advisors to early identify emerging opportunitiesLeading the execution of major Bancassurance deals and ensuring the effective coordination of all internal stakeholders in alignment with Group Policies and GuidelinesStrictly cooperating and constantly dialoguing with Insurance M&A and BUs for new opportunities mapping, and constantly interacting with BUs (and potential Advisors) for the definition of the business case and main economics terms of bancassurance cooperationsCooperating with BUs and Legal teams (Group or Regional/Local) for the definition of main contractual terms of the agreementIn case of complex M&A transactions, cooperating with Insurance M&A in the execution of the process by leading the BA workstreamDefining, implementing and maintaining Group Bancassurance Guidelines in alignment with all other relevant internal Policies and regulationsRequirementsOur ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Finance or any related field10+ years’ experience in Corporate/Business Development, M&A, management consulting or in the financial sector, preferably in international contextsStrong financial modelling and valuation capabilities (business case, profitability analysis; banking and insurance KPIs, due diligence, …)Deep knowledge of insurance and banking sectors together with deep experience in Bancassurance models and insurance distributionExperience in structuring and executing complex partnership agreementsSoft Skills:Problem solving and strategic thinkingStrong analytical skills and decision-making abilitiesExcellent communication and presentation skillsCollaborative leadership and stakeholder managementAbility to influenceHigh adaptability and cultural agility in complex international environmentsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work autonomouslyCompany ProfileGenerali Group Head Office is the guidelining unit of the Generali Group, one of the largest global insurance and asset management providers.
