Join us, and you could be one of them.About the roleReporting to the central Hazelnut Quality Manager, she / he will be in charge of the whole local quality agenda related to the Hazelnut Company Italy (Korvella Italia) activities, reporting managerially to the Hazelnut Company Head of Italy.Specifically, she / he will be responsible to execute the following objectives according to the standards defined in the Ferrero Quality System and by HCo Central Quality, in compliance with all the standards of hygiene and Food Safety :Implement all the necessary Guidelines to manage the overall Quality and food safety inside the PlantsActivate all necessary levers to guarantee and monitor product and process Quality and food safetyEnsure that Plant personnel are adequately trained on Quality and food safety aspectsShe / he will be responsible for the following tasks :Ensure efficient and effective management of quality in manufacturing, with reference to raw materials and packaging good acceptance, and semi-finished and finished goods validation, with particular attention to organoleptic aspects of the products and Food SafetyManage and develop the resources of his / her Quality TeamMonitor Quality trendsEnsure compliance with quality standards through all transformation process phases (incoming, transformation, finished product release) through sampling plans, audits and company information systemsGuarantee the management of all non-compliant materials / processes (incoming materials, semi-finished and finished goods) and manage exceptions (derogations) and non-conformities, activating the escalation process to Hazelnut Quality Manager according to the specific corporate procedureSupport public authorities during investigation, controls and visits. Attend internal and external (certification) authorities for visits and inspections on quality, ethic and religion, hygiene topicsDefine and supports Central Audits from “on field” activities to the definition and development of corrective action plansInteract with the relevant clients for managing claims and feedbackRealize Action Plans and related projects for achieving objectives (KPIs)Ensure the necessary technical support to the productionCooperate with Supply Chain in warehouses and transport management regarding implementation of objectives, framework requirements, technical specifications and evaluation criteriaWho we are looking forPrevious managerial experience (at least 5 years) within the Food Quality / Food Safety perimeter with a high level of responsibilities; a good knowledge of the industrial environment will be considered a plusScientific Degree Background (Preferably Natural Sciences, Food Technology or Chemical Engineering)Excellent proficiency in Italian and in English, both written and verbal communication skillsTeam management and Leadership skillsOrganizational and analysis skillsExcellent judgment and decision-making skillsHow to be successful in the role and at FerreroConsumers, quality and care are at the heart of everything we do.
