We are looking for a Group End-to-End Delivery Manager to join our high-caliber Transformation team to be based in Milan office.
Role
The Strategy Lead will be responsible for defining, maintaining, supporting the execution and monitoring the Group’s strategy, setting up the guidelines for the transformation journey of the Group
More in detail, the Strategy Lead will be :
Orchestrating the design, development, and refresh of Group Strategy (both at Group and local level), drafting long-term strategic direction, identifying key enablers and execution risks, and supporting Group functions and countries in deploying functional strategic guidelines and initiatives
Steering the communication and alignment on strategic guidelines within the Group, to act as a basis for the local and functional strategic pillars (i.e. each country and function will develop own piece of the strategy that will need to be coherent with the overall Group guidelines)
Overseeing the execution of initiatives supporting the achievement of the strategic plan, monitoring the deployment of the overall strategic roadmap.
Key Accountabilities & modus operandi
Accountabilities
Orchestration of strategic plan, including high-level direction, aspiration (in cooperation with Finance), definition of guidelines, oversight of initiatives.
Contribution to identification of key execution risks.
Alignment of operational objectives of key functions / units to strategic ambition.
Support to analysis of Group positioning vs. competitors, developed by other accountable departments
Lead potential advisors selected on strategic planning and related themes
Monitoring of strategic roadmap (impact, adherence to plan / budget, dynamic evolution)
Collaboration & Organizational Model
Part of horizontal “agile” team under the single responsibility of Group Chief Strategy Officer, with no additional layers
Close interaction with Group Chief Strategy Officer to define direction, set ambition, and select key initiatives.
Part of horizontal “agile” team under the single responsibility of Group Chief Strategy Officer, with no additional layers
Close cooperation with Group corporate functions teams (i.e., IT, Finance, HR, Business Development) to design, plan, deliver, and monitor strategic initiatives.
Highly frequent interaction with international teams to define and align upon strategy related themes
Professional Experience & Qualifications
5+ years in strategy roles (financial services, consulting, or corporate development).
Proven experience in strategic planning and transformation programs.
Core Competencies & Knowledge
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Pragmatic out of the box, creative thinking applied to vision setting
Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
Experience with executive teams but also ability to effectively interact and communicate with operational team
Fluency in English; Spanish or Italian is a plus.
Preferential requirements
Experience in credit servicing, banking, or asset management.
Familiarity with AI, digital transformation, or operational innovation.
Willingness to travel to get closer to the broad doValue international team involved in strategy related themes
