With the Papernet brand, we also cater to the "Away-from-Home" sector, ensuring quality solutions for businesses and public spaces.Wherever you are, Sofidel is there, bringing comfort, quality, and sustainability to everyday life!DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLETo support the line manager in ensuring consistent implementation and monitoring of the Health & Safety Management System across all group sites, guaranteeing legal compliance, safe use of chemical substances and technical safety of machines and production equipment, in accordance with the regulations in force, and the Group’s aims and corporate values.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESSupports the Line Manager in ensuring health and safety, the respect of laws and regulations protecting the employees’ health and safetySupports the Line Manager in promoting a safety-bound corporate culture, also through the Group’s employees sensitizationMonitors compliance with national and international Health & safety regulations; ensure timely adaptation to legal updatesConducts regular audits and inspections; tracks performance indicators including indicators on job injuries and near-misses and coordinates the implementation of corrective actionsMonitors the fire prevention and protection measures adopted by the Group’s corporations and supports the CTO in their improvement and updatingLeads the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the Health & Safety Management System across all group facilitiesin accordance with the established deadlinesChecks the compliance with the management procedures concerning health and safetyCoordinates incident investigations and supports root cause analysis and corrective actionsDevelops and delivers health & safety training and awareness programs across the organizationCoordinates the training activity on health and safety in the Italian firmsChecks the health and safety training process in the international plants suggesting improvement plansOversees the technical safety of machines and production equipment, ensuring compliance with applicable directives and company standardsChecks and monitor the level of Technical and Technological Safety of the Group’s plantsCoordinates and monitors the approval process for new chemicals used within the group; ensure conformity with REACH, and related regulationsDevelops effective communication process to make chemical H&S priorities and performance visibleSupport the CTO and the COO in the improvement process and the safety measures of the productive plants and the Group’s plantsCollaborate with the Group H&S Manager in the support to the relevant corporate depts in the relationships with the institutions controlling matters of health and safetyAssists the Line Manager providing regular reports to Group management on Health & Safety performance and initiativesSupport the Line manager in the management of the RSPP activitiesSupport the Line Manager in the coordination of the Group H&S managers’ activitiesSupports the Line Manager in the promotion of the definition and spreading ofthe “Best Practices” in matters of Group’s Health and Safety and shares them across sitesSupport the Line manager in the coordination of the Group’s activities concerning health and safety in the working places, developing problem-solving skills, innovation and search for synergies among the relevant areas, ensuring its uniform applicationPromoteand check the guidelines for the correct implementation of the health and safety management systemPromote a safety-bound corporate cultureApply the Corporate Principles and ValuesREQUIREMENTS FOR THE APPLICATIONPhD in chemistryExperience (at least 2 years) of Health & Safetyin a large facility (more than 200 people) and in product safety and regulatory affairs .
