We are seeking a Ground Station Engineer to be involved in major projects in the space sector.
Description
Background:

University degree preferably in the fields of Aerospace/Space Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering or Computer Science and Engineering

Skills

Experience designing and building RF communication systems;
Competence in IP networking concepts;
Working knowledge of Linux operating system;
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems;
Integration and test of hardware systems;
Experience with RF, electrical, and networking test equipment (spectrum analyzers, vector analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.);
Field support;
Full professional proficiency in the English language is mandatory;
High motivation, proactive working approach and strong sense of responsibility.

Tasks

Assimilate the Ground Station documentation about design, procurement, production, integration and installation;
Participation in Ground Station acceptance phase;
Participation in Remote Ground Station acceptance phase;
Understanding of the Ground Station design (including software);
Understanding of the Remote Ground Station service;
Support to the GS AIV team for the GS Integration activities.
