An exciting opportunity for a Grid Connection Specialist to join a leading engineering consultancy that is expanding its team to focus on grid connection projects. The company manages EPCs for the design and construction of utility‑scale projects across a diversified portfolio of solar and energy storage assets throughout Europe, with this role based in their Italian branch. In this position, you will have the opportunity to be part of a team working on a strong pipeline of 250 MW of BESS projects. This role is also well‑suited to individuals who prefer a remote working environment. They are currently supporting some of Italy’s largest solar and BESS projects, up to 250 MW, making this an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, young team in the Italian grid sector.
Key Responsibilities

Support grid connection processes through direct communication with Terna for the company’s pipeline of BESS projects.
Lead the design of substations and HV transmission lines, with oversight of construction and commissioning phases.
Contribute to electrical design and layouts for projects, focusing on HV and MV systems.

Qualifications

3‑5-year experience in renewable energy and grid connection sector.
Proven high‑voltage experience, including MV‑HV line design expertise.
Prior experience communicating with Terna, with the ability to confidently manage documentation.
Fluent in Italian and English.
