The M&A and Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) team provides a broad range of advisory services to clients, primarily in a deals environment, including financial due diligence (FDD), Business Plan, Valuations, and M&A lead advisory.
Position Summary
Our M&A and Transactions Advisory delivery model includes the entire transaction life-cycle, enabling engagement opportunities throughout the lifetime of a deal. This includes originating and providing corporate finance advice as a lead financial advisor on M&A transactions, providing valuations services on a range of transactional matters, due diligence advice to help our clients identify risks associated with deals and offer solutions that can help to mitigate such risks, acting as an independent financial adviser on IPOs and on a range of other corporate transactions such as financial modelling, fundraising, and debt advisory/restructuring.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Analyse financial and non-financial/operational results of target companies using accounting information and interviews with management.
Identify and understand key drivers of a business and potential deal breakers (financial and non-financial).
Prepare and evaluate pro forma financial information.
Build target valuation models using different valuation methods.
Develop business plan modelling and preparation.
Write and/or review valuation and business plan (buy‑side, sell‑side) reports for clients including family offices, private equity, VC, and corporates.
Write and/or review financial due diligence (buy‑side, sell‑side, or refinancing) reports for clients including family offices, private equity, VC, and corporates.
Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or other relevant fields; a Master’s degree is a plus.
2–4+ years of relevant transactional services/financial due diligence or audit experience in a consulting practice.
Solid experience in financial modelling, accounting, and transaction advisory services.
Strong knowledge of main valuation methods.
Proven ability to deliver high-quality work as an individual contributor and team member, manage engagements, and prepare concise, accurate documents while maintaining project economics and flexibility for unforeseen issues.
Excellent communication skills in Italian and English (written and spoken).
Strong time‑management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness.
We offer an apprenticeship/permanent employment contract with an indicative gross annual salary of between €27 K and €35 K, commensurate with experience.
Location: Rome, Latium, Italy.
