This position contributes to the evaluation and follow-up of Avolta’s investment portfolio, ensuring maximum value creation and timely execution of Mergers & Acquisitions projects. The role supports strategic planning through robust financial modeling, scenario analysis, and business insights, while actively partnering with cross-functional teams to assess new growth opportunities and drive the successful delivery of strategic initiatives. The role reports to Global Mergers and Acquisitions Director and is based in Milan, Italy.RESPONSIBILITIESBuild and maintain robust financial models and forecasts to support strategic planningDeliver accurate and insightful business analysis to guide leadership decisions and respond to ad-hoc requestsConduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate value creation opportunities and assess potential risksCollaborate with Management and Initiative Leaders to assess new strategic opportunities and ensure alignment with growth objectivesMonitor strategic initiatives and coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve implementation challengesSupport Avolta’s growth strategy through active involvement in identifying, assessing, and executing M&A transactions, investments, joint ventures, and divestituresCoordinate project streams across Finance, Operations, Legal, and Structuring to ensure seamless executionPrepare investment memorandums, conduct valuations, and define key financial metrics and multiplesPerform risk assessments on proposed transactions and provide strategic recommendationsPartner with business leaders throughout the M&A lifecycle to ensure strategic fit, smooth integration, and value optimizationWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred2–4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, management consulting (Big-4), or corporate finance / business development within a multinational organizationExposure to the retail industry is a strong advantageSolid understanding of corporate finance, valuation methodologies, and financial modelingProven analytical and conceptual skills with a detail-oriented and solution-driven mindsetStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across cultures and levelsFluent in English; additional languages are a plusProactive, reliable, and self-motivated with a collaborative and open-minded approach
