The Global Director of Finance Administration & Tax is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the Group CFO. This role is responsible for harmonizing and overseeing the Group’s financial operations, accounting standards, tax strategy, and ERP systems across all entities. It ensures compliance with international and local regulations, drives process excellence, and leads the transformation of financial reporting and systems.
Your responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Consolidation
Manage Group consolidated financial statements and balance sheet
Oversee statutory consolidation and ensure accurate intercompany reconciliations
Ensure timely filing of statutory financial statements and compliance with regulations
Align statutory and managerial reporting; coordinate audits at Group and local level
Act as Group accounting lead; define and enforce policies and controls
Maintain global master data and deploy the Group Accounting Manual
Lead IFRS transition and provide training to finance teams
Assets, Inventory & Tax
Supervise asset and inventory accounting policies
Define tax strategy, ensure compliance, and manage transfer pricing
Support local teams with tax filings and audits
Process & Governance
Improve accounting processes through automation and standardization
Own key financial processes including closing, audits, and invoicing
ERP & Systems
Enhance ERP functionality
Drive adoption of digital tools and act as key user for finance systems
Your profile:
Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred
Minimum 10 years of experience in international finance leadership roles
Experience in a multinational environment
Deep knowledge of Italian GAAP, IFRS, and global tax regulations
Proven experience with ERP systems
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Fluent in English; Italian and other languages are a plus
