We're seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Global Demand Planner in Atessa, Italy.Role PurposeAs a Global Demand Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our demand forecasting processes. You'll leverage statistical modeling, market insights, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop and refine our demand forecasts, contributing to the optimization of our supply chain operations and overall business success.ResponsibilitiesFacilitate the S&OP Demand Review process to improve forecast quality.Manage Risk & Opportunities (R&O) and assumptions to formulate optimal plans.Prepare monthly forecasts for a 24-month horizon using statistical data and market insights.Coordinate weekly Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE) reviews for a 12-week horizon.Serve as a facilitator for the monthly S&OP process and provide analytical decision-making support to leadership.Ensure data integrity and perform analytics in the forecasting tool, including data cleansing.Lead the monthly demand review process with Sales & Marketing to finalize consensus forecasts.Conduct forecast variance analysis and reporting.Execute Leader Standard Work (LSW) and drive continuous improvement in forecasting processes.Serve as a subject matter expert in demand planning tools, processes, and global standards.Assist in the development and management of product allocations and aging stock optimization plans.RequirementsSales forecasting and Demand Planning expertise.Statistical forecasting techniques and modeling.Familiarity with the S&OP process.Moderate knowledge of the Agricultural Industry and products.Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Experience in sales forecasting, reporting, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, IBP, APO, CRM).Strong communication skills.Soft SkillsExceptional organizational skills.Independent delivery of outcomes.Teamwork proficiency.Influencing skills.Problem-solving and analytical skills.Why Join UsJoin Syngenta Biologicals and be part of a global team dedicated to shaping the future of agriculture.
