GLOBAL CHEMICAL PROCESS EXPERT - Italy (Mortara - PV)
Are you experienced in providing high-level chemical process expertise to support the development and industrialization of new chemical products? Do you excel at assessing process criticalities and implementing mitigation and improvement actions for existing products?
Do you see this as a challenge to work within a global function in an international environment?
What are your responsibilities?
Participate actively in the industrialization of new processes by analyzing industrial needs, collaborating on laboratory experiments, and assessing the suitability of existing lines for new products or relocations.
Define stability and calorimetric tests for new processes or transfers, supporting process risk assessments, and preparing energy and material balances, including recycling and recovery flows.
Assist in designing process flow diagrams and P&IDs, and in preparing start-up procedures, tuning, and fine-tuning initiatives.
Analyze and propose optimization measures for process parameters such as yield, energy requirements, batch size, cycle time, capacity, technology, equipment, quality, and automation levels. Support root cause analyses for process deviations and troubleshooting.

Who are we looking for?
You hold a Master’s degree in organic or industrial chemistry with at least ten years of experience in laboratory and industrial processes across various technologies, including unit operations, reactors, and off-gas treatment.
You have extensive knowledge of chemical processes such as Friedel-Crafts, halogenations, diazotation, transesterification, hydrogenation, condensation, oligomerization, and high thermal risk transformations.
You possess knowledge of physical chemistry and analytical methodologies.
You enjoy working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders in Italy and internationally, fluently speaking both Italian and English.
You are willing to be based in Mortara, Italy, with a readiness to travel, especially to China.
