About the Position:
Frontline Logistics Engineer at Marelli Green Technologies Manufacturing team, reporting to the GT Manufacturing Engineering Manager. Based at Venaria Reale, Italy.
Study and define standard logistics tools and device interfaces for line feeding to be implemented in all plants worldwide.
Collaborate with the logistics flow engineer to design a low-cost automated front line that ensures the appropriate quantities and feeding times for each part.
Your Responsibilities will be:
Develop and implement innovative logistics tools and devices to streamline the front line assembly lines, support warehouse and distribution operations.
Conduct assessments and analyses to identify areas of improvement in logistics processes.
Collaborate with IT and other engineering teams to integrate logistics solutions with existing systems and infrastructure.
Design experiments and tests to evaluate the performance of logistics technologies.
Provide technical support and training to logistics personnel on the use of new tools and devices.
Monitor the performance of logistics tools and devices to ensure they meet operational requirements.
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in logistics to keep Marelli at the forefront of the industry.
What Qualifications you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Strong technical skills with proficiency in logistics software and tools.
Proven experience in logistics engineering or a similar role.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Other skills that we would welcome:
English fluent, additional languages are preferred.
5 years of relevant experience in internal logistics and automation, as a consultant or in manufacturing/production context.
