OverviewYou'll need to relocate to Dublin, Ireland, for this role, as it’s hybrid with two days a week in the office.Our client is a fast-growing international brand in the gifting and experiences space, offering everything from weekend breaks to skydiving adventures across 10+ European countries. They’re now looking for a Frontend Tech Lead to take charge of their online booking domain, a system that handles millions of users and high traffic every day.This role is perfect for someone who knows how to build, scale, and lead, not just code. You’ll work across three agile teams and help shape how people across Europe discover and book unforgettable experiences.What you'll be doingLead frontend engineering across multiple products and teamsSet the technical direction for booking journeys and customer-facing platformsMentor developers, run code reviews, and improve frontend standardsBuild and maintain scalable UI components using Vue.js (2 / 3) and TailwindDrive performance improvements across booking, search, and integrationsCollaborate with Product, UX and Backend teams to ship better, fasterInfluence architecture and cross-team tech decisionsPromote clean code, reusable patterns, and solid CI / CD practicesYou should have7+ years in frontend / software development2+ years in a technical leadership or mentoring roleDeep experience with Vue.js, design systems, and modern frontend architectureStrong grasp of REST APIs, HTTP integration, and backend coordination (bonus for PHP / Symfony)Experience with CI / CD, test automation (e.g. Cypress), GitLabSolid knowledge of MySQL and containerised environments (Docker / Kubernetes)Agile mindset with a hands-on, proactive approachEven better if you’ve worked withBooking platforms, e-commerce, or large-scale third-party integrationsHigh-traffic systems and microservicesTools like Grafana, Prometheus, or New RelicMultilingual websites and distributed systemsGitLab, Vault, or ArgoCDThis isn’t just a coding job.
