FRONT OFFICE SUPERVISORReports to: Director of RoomsOverviewThe Front Office Supervisor oversees daily front desk operations, supervises staff, manages guest relations and problem resolution, and ensures efficient check-in/check-out processes and adherence to hotel standards. Key responsibilities include assisting with guest services, training and scheduling front desk agents, coordinating with other departments, handling payments and billing, maintaining records, and ensuring positive guest experiences.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSupervise, train, and schedule front desk staff to ensure smooth operations.Handle guest inquiries, manage check-in and check-out procedures, and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally.Ensure efficient running of the front desk, monitor room assignments, manage reservations, and oversee cash handling and billing.Liaise with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure guest requests are met and hotel standards are maintained.Maintain accurate guest records, logs, and financial reports.Strive to create a positive and seamless guest experience by going the extra mile to exceed expectations.Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with standards.REQUIREMENTSEvidence of self-development and development of othersExcellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with guests and staffA strong commitment to providing exceptional customer serviceProficiency in using property management systems (PMS) such as Opera Cloud and Microsoft Office SuiteReferencesOUR OFFERFixed term working contract of 9 months as from April 2025 according to CCNL Settore Turismo (Federalberghi)Staff well-being initiatives and events to promote collaboration and inclusionTraining activities and rewards linked to quality of serviceStaff canteenUniform and uniform cleaning5/7 working daysNo lodging facilitiesWorkplace: Via Bolognese, 89 - Firenze
