Can you communicate effectively in both Italian and English?Join our team in Bari, Italy!Partner with the bestThe focus of this role is to negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies to achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction.As aForging / Machined parts Commodity Manager / Buyeryou will be responsible for :Defining supplier strategy including management and optimization of supplier panels.Leading negotiations and allocating needs to specific suppliers.Negotiating terms and conditions and transmit information to Procurement.Managing claims, commercial sourcing management such as data analysis, negotiations support, purchasing activitiesAdvising functional managers regarding projects, processes and procedures in the own field.Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordinating services rendered.Contributing to project as a team member or leads small projects. Work goals typically take 3-6 months to complete and the time horizon for results / impact is typically 2-12 months after the event.To be successful in this role you will need to have :Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED)At least 4 years ofexperience in SourcingMinimum of 3 additional years ofexperience in Commodity Managementcommunication skills both in Italian and Englishand strong interpersonal skillsAbility to travelaround 20% of the job (1-2 days at the time) withing ItalyGood leadership skills, ability to influence others and lead small teams.Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.Effective problem identification and solution skills.Proven analytical and organizational ability.Working with usOur people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
