We are looking for a skilled Footwear CAD Product Engineer to join the Racing Department. The role plays a pivotal part in product development and focuses on creating innovative, high‑quality and technical footwear products.
Location: Asolo (TV)
Responsibilities
2D/3D modeling for product engineering;
Production information flow management, facilitating communication and exchange of information between the Footwear Department and internal and external stakeholders;
Make laboratory test requirement for each item necessary for footwear collections (outsole, plastic parts, mechanism), linked to the activity plan properly set;
Collect the Quality Control documents for approval process (QC drawing starting from available 3D files; PPT file for QC checking);
Labeling for approval to distribute to site production/internal department as per QC procedure;
Regular communication with production site and nominated supplier for R&D development activities (material and flat sheet samples / injected parts / technical datasheet alignment);
Discuss and implement corrective actions when required, to maintain adherence to product design and prevent/resolve material and/or process‑related defects;
Data record for all technical specifications and standards.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferable;
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in automotive or footwear industries;
3D CAD knowledge with CATIA surface modelling is a must‑have;
Good communicative skills;
Fluency in English.
