Situated along the Riva degli Schiavoni, just steps away from St. Mark's Square, our hotel provides guests with a unique and unforgettable experience.Working with us means being part of a dynamic team that values mutual respect and collaboration.About The Role :This position reports into the Director Food and Beverage, working closely with the Executive Chef to craft effective menu and amenity options, ensuring excellent product quality at a fair price and attending regular operational meetings for seamless coordination between departments.Key Responsibilities :Describe and ensure the quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods.Provide knowledge of wine and spirits, ensuring guests receive expert advice in an elegantly appointed environment.Create a distinctive and attentive experience for 24-hour in-room dining and in-room private bar services.Promote good public relations, handle complaints, concerns, or special requests from guests, clients, and group contacts.Oversee team shift schedules to ensure smooth and efficient operations.Support the development of the team, fostering a positive and growth-oriented work environment.Your Qualifications :A college degree, preferably specializing in hotel / restaurant management or equivalent experience, is required.Two to three years of previous experience in a line, supervisory, or assistant manager position in Food & Beverage.Working knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.A special talent and passion for delivering exceptional standards consistently and providing outstanding service and attention to our guests.Attention to detail, strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, the ability to multi-task with excellent organizational skills, be a team player, and bring your personal touch and energy to our guest experiences.What We Offer :A competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional growth and development.A supportive and collaborative work environment.The chance to work in one of Venice's most iconic hotels.This is a full-time position.The candidate must have a flexible schedule and work also on weekends and holidays.
