The Firmware Engineer is responsible for the design and development of microcontroller software for technical applications and the test of the software in a simulated environment. He/She/They will be based in Belluno and report to the Manager Electronics Development.
Responsibilities

Accomplish specific deliverables in new product development, sustaining engineering, and cost reduction projects
Create Design, Coding and Specification documentation in support of defined requirements
Produce quality focused code to fulfill defined requirements
Participate in code reviews
Actively participate in design discussions and reviews

Requirements

Electronics or computer science degree
5 years' experience in the R&D dept. of HVAC or refrigeration companies
Knowledge and expertise in the C programming language
Knowledge and familiarity with the architecture of 8/16/32 bits microprocessors
Capability in the reading of electrical schemes
Expertise in the use of measuring tools (tester, calibrators, oscilloscope, etc.)
Experience in low level drivers' development
Autonomy in becoming familiar with new development tools or new micro controllers
Expertise in all the different project's firmware realization phases
Autonomy in the definition of the technical choices
Code Review aptitude
Capability in the analysis and modification of codes written by others
Good English knowledge
Autonomy in work organization and deadline meeting
