Join Vestas Blades Process Engineering organization as a Training Engineer. In this role you will develop and improve training material for wind turbine blades handling and logistics, ensuring consistent and effective knowledge transfer to factory employees.
Responsibilities

Design and optimize training material within the Handling & Logistics process.
Analyse the current state and future state of training material and systems.
Create a Process Roadmap and plans for future states.
Define training material requirements and specifications, deciding whether material will be newly developed or sourced externally.
Standardise generic lay‑up training materials.
Contribute to a culture of excellence, innovation and responsibility.
Investigate and solve training issues using structured methods such as the 5‑Whys and Fishbone diagrams.
Apply continuous improvement principles with Lean tools to reduce waste, improve efficiency and ensure final training material quality.

Education

Bachelor of Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
Training in Train‑the‑Trainer programmes or similar.

Experience

6‑8 years of developing training material primarily for unskilled workers.
Experience training shop‑floor employees.
Planning training for up to 100 participants.
Developed and defined functional training material for employees with varying education levels.

Essential Skills

Ability to assess skill gaps and define learning objectives aligned with business goals.
Knowledge of adult learning principles, blended learning and experiential training formats.
Experience collaborating with engineering managers and subject‑matter experts to co‑develop content.
Ensuring training aligns with ISO standards, safety regulations and internal policies.
Familiarity with LMS and e‑learning tools.
Gathering input from trainees and stakeholders to continually improve training programmes.
Willingness to spend time in the factory environment to understand and solve problems.
Data‑driven decision making using tools such as 5‑Whys and Fishbone diagrams.
Self‑motivated, results‑oriented with strong organisational discipline.
Ability to build a cross‑functional network across cultures and time zones.
Customer‑orientated and able to understand the complete business value chain.
Commitment to continuous learning.
