This position will be critical for supporting product cost analysis and forecasting activities across the supply chain organization. This role will be responsible for supporting day-to-day business partnering with the supply chain team as well as driving best-in-class improvements in process and analytical capabilities.Ways you will make a differenceBe a passionate business partner for the Supply Chain team through the following activities:Acquire deep understanding of the various business drivers behind manufacturing, procurement and logistics functional areasComplete new product cost estimates and ensure accuracy of standard costs by supporting the commercialization team in launching and refreshing existing productsManage related master data changes and impacts supporting product set-up and designCommunicate actionable business recommendations and fact-based analytics, delivering against stated objectivesSupport internal audit of cycle monthly inventory cycle counts, forecasting and other month end reporting and controls.Support key month-end and year-end closing and control procedures including production order settlement process, physical inventory and external audit.Assist in the development of the operating forecast and annual business/strategic planConstructively challenge and question various business decisions offering alternative recommendationsProvide technical expertise and best-in-class process and control improvements to the Supply Chain teamParticipate and sometimes lead various finance-wide projects resulting in a well-controlled operating system – projects will vary depending on business needsSkills that will make you successfulThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required:Outstanding written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated leadership and drive for results through effective collaborationStrong analytical, problem-solving, and modeling skillsIntellectually curiousProven track record of driving change and process improvementsAbility to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgencyAbility to deal with ambiguity, change and a dynamic business environmentStrength of character; must be tough-minded and able to deal with change, and thrive in an environment that challenges the status quoExperiences that will support your successMinimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in operations finance, ideally with plant costing and/or inventory control experience from a top CPG organizationBachelor’s degree in Finance or AccountingSAP experience preferredWhat We OfferAt Ferrara, we're proud to support our employees with comprehensive benefits that enhance health, financial wellness, and include paid time off (PTO).
