A rapidly growing European investment platform is seeking a Finance & Operations Associate (Private Assets) to support its expanding activities across multiple jurisdictions. The Finance & Operations Associate (Private Assets) will take responsibility for the following duties:

Maintain and update accounting records across several European entities
Liaise with outsourced administrators on fund reporting, NAV packs, capital statements, and drawdown processes
Assist with year-end audits, tax filings and preparation of management, advisory, and operating expense schedules
Support portfolio reporting, data collection from portfolio companies, and preparation of investor materials
Contribute to compliance administration, including registers, KYC processes, and internal documentation
Help manage FX processes and coordinate with brokers
Provide general operational and office management support as needed Vesper - Finance and Ops Role (...)

The Finance & Operations Associate (Private Assets) will meet the following criteria:

Based in or willing to relocate to Milan
Degree in finance, accounting or a related discipline
c.1–3 years’ post-qualified experience in investment management, funds, or a similar environment
Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and comfort working in a fast-moving entrepreneurial setting
Strong knowledge of fund accounting principles
Proven knowledge of alternative investment funds
A proactive attitude, curiosity, and eagerness to contribute across a wide operational scope
