Location is flexible within ItalyField Service Technician (Southern Europe / Italy) — Full TimeReporting to: Global Services ManagerEntry LevelCamlin EnergyWhat to expect day to dayCamlin Energy has an exciting opportunity for someone to join us in a Field Service Technician position within the Global Services Department, Southern Europe.ResponsibilitiesRepresenting Camlin, by ensuring the customer comes first, and that field projects are maintained on track and supported in a professional manner whilst delivering excellent levels of customer service.Ensures compliance with Camlin Health, Safety and Environmental policies.Undertakes and regularly updates all training associated with the role inc external mandatory H&S training as directed.Completes training on the Installation / Commissioning and general servicing of standard HV products to be installed regionally within Southern Europe.Working within live sub-stations and network facilities, primarily within the designated region.Installation and commissioning of standard HV products.General service and maintenance duties involving the standard HV products.Reports to the Field Co-ordinator on works carried out, work orders and service appointments.Compiles and issues reports on works carried out to the Operational Officer.Maintain constant communication with Field and Operational functions, enabling efficient & timely planning and scheduling of works.Communicates and aligns with the wider team, reporting on customer satisfaction throughout inc post works.Regular travel throughout Southern Europe to undertake works in live sub-stations and network facilities will be required.Undertake other such duties that are required, commensurate with the role.What you will need to succeedA positive, can-do attitude, keen to learn and develop your skills.Experience in a similar role.IT proficient with good documentation managementGood analytical and problem-solving abilities.Good interpersonal and communication skills.Attention to detail.A willingness to work additional hours and the flexibility to work weekends as required; must be able to travel within the specified region and possibly to other customer locations as and when required, therefore a current passport and driver’s license are essential.Applicants are required to be bi-lingual, with Italian as their first language and English (spoken and written) as their second.QualificationsHigh school diploma (perito meccatronico, elettrotecnico, elettronico) or engineering bachelor degree (laurea di primo livello in Ingegneria meccatronica, elettrica, elettronica).DesirableAt least 2 years’ industry experience.Experience in reporting.Demonstrate experience in critical thinking.Demonstrate experience for customer interactions.What we look forWe work together - We know that working collaboratively will help us reach our shared goals faster, so we always look for ways to help each other.We believe in people - Here at Camlin, our people are central to what we do and what we can achieve, and as we move towards becoming industry and customer ‘partners’ that’s even more important.
