EFI is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our Business Unit in Milan, Italy.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Provide end‑to‑end technical support primarily for our Italian customer base, including technical phone support and onsite technical support.
Provide extensive travel to cover the service territory.
Tradeshow support including printer setup and calibration, demonstration and teardown.
End user training at operator level.
Provide feedback to our US‑based R&D team.
Serve as an Ambassador for EFI.

Job Requirements

Technical degree or equivalent experience in mechanical, digital, and electronic technology.
Minimum three years experience in field engineering positions servicing complex electro‑mechanical devices.
Knowledge of inkjet printing, RIP/color theory, and materials/chemicals used in the printing industry.
Knowledge of personal computers, Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.
Self‑motivating personality that can independently manage a large service territory (including effective management of EFI assets such as parts, tools, and company information).
Good communication skills and customer focused.
Required language skills: Fluent in Italian and English.
Position requires extensive regional travel at short notice.
