Join our dynamic team at AMETEK MOCON as a Field Service Engineer, supporting customers across Italy from our Peschiera Borromeo office.
Responsibilities
Install and Commission Equipment: Set up new equipment and provide technical training to operating personnel.
Maintenance and Calibration: Fulfill all tasks according to maintenance contracts, ensuring customer equipment is well‑maintained and calibrated.
Repair Services: Conduct repairs both on‑site at customer locations and at our facility.
Customer Support: Offer competent support to customers and distributors, addressing technical issues, application queries, device handling, software, and other technical problems, both on‑site and remotely via email, phone, or remote access (TeamViewer), writing offers for technical services.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation and reporting of services provided.
Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with internal sales and distribution teams.
Conduct Training: Independently implement customer training courses.
Requirements
Completed training as an electrical engineering technician or a degree in electrical engineering.
Proven experience in technical customer service.
Proficiency with common MS Office programs and familiarity with ERP systems (AX experience is a plus).
Fluent in both Italian and English; additional languages are an advantage.
A diligent and proactive work ethic, strong communication skills and a desire to provide service of the highest level to our internal and external customers.
A willingness to travel – predominantly Italy but occasionally other countries where required. No weekend work is required.
A valid class B driver's license. A company car is part of the package.
