This position will include chemistry tests, chemical feed and control equipment maintenance, chemical inventory management, technical recommendations, and written service reports. This is a customer facing position.Main ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with all aspects of safety on the job – including the operation and maintenance of an assigned company vehicle – and comply with all VEOLIA Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) policies and Italian lawsInstall and service chemical feed and water treatment and chemical feed equipment at designated locationsAct as technical consultant and liaison with customer management and technical counterpartsPerform water analysis and / or collect samples for preparation, labeling and shipment to designated laboratory for analysisWork with PLC controls, understands water process treatment design, and repairs pumps, instruments and control panelsConduct preventive maintenance and calibrates feed pumps, controllers, feed rate charts and maintain log sheetsMaintain inventory of spare parts (lube oil, tubing, and piping), and adequate supply of reagents, sample containers, and shipment containers necessary for routine as well as special sampling and analysisTravel to customer sites and perform preventive maintenance and related servicesTroubleshoot and repairs pumps, instruments and control panels. Calibrate feed pumps, controllers, feed rate charts and maintain log sheets.
