Edgerton Contractors, a construction, and excavation company that specializes in earthwork, underground utilities, and design assist projects is hiring a Field Safety Coordinator. The Field Safety Coordinator participates in implementing the safety program in the field during construction and reports directly to the Safety Director.

Participates in the awareness, education, and training curriculum for our employees as part of our overall safety program.
Participates in formulating action plans to mitigate further incidents from occurring.
Impactful communication, awareness training, and project oversight to help mitigate overall incidents from occurring.

Operations:

Works collaboratively with operations, field staff, and safety staff in support of safe operations for ongoing and future work. Problem solver in the field, relating to safety hazards and safety compliance.
Willingness to travel as needed to other Edgerton work locations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related degree
Familiarity with OSHA requirements related to civil construction.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
