As part of the Gas Power One Field Services team, FieldCore installs, maintains, and upgrades power generation equipment, enabling reliable and affordable energy worldwide.Role OverviewYou will initially enroll in FieldCore’s Field Engineering Program (FEP), where you will develop technical expertise, lean thinking, and leadership skills through in-person and online training, learning from experienced Technical Field Advisors with on-the-job training.Upon successful completion, you will be eligible for a Technical Field Advisor position working on Steam Turbines, contributing to site activity management, planning, and resource coordination.Responsibilities include hands-on maintenance of Steam and Gas Turbines, troubleshooting, and technical support at customer sites.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain safety standards and ensure work reflects GE safety requirements.Manage and coordinate site activities and equipment.Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and calibrations.Respond to emergency repairs and troubleshoot equipment issues.Provide technical instructions and ensure work meets company standards.Prepare technical reports, job status updates, and documentation.Ensure customer satisfaction through quality work.Verify contractor work and manage aftermarket upgrades.Role RequirementsWillingness to travel extensively overseas and work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends.Ability to spend significant time away from home for training and field assignments.Skills and QualificationsFluency in English, strong technical competence, and a passion for engineering are essential.
