The Opportunity
As our Fermentation Technician, you'll be the hands-on specialist who operates and maintains our bioreactor systems, ensuring optimal fermentation processes that drive our precision biomanufacturing capabilities. This role is essential to our mission of innovating and optimizing fermentation processes at industrial scale. You'll work in a dynamic environment where your technical expertise directly impacts our ability to deliver nature-aligned manufacturing solutions. Shift Pattern: Wednesday-Saturday, 38 hours total.

To operate, maintain, and optimize bioreactor systems and fermentation processes with precision and reliability, ensuring consistent production excellence that supports Arsenale's biomanufacturing innovation.
Your Impact

Preparing precision media and feed solutions by accurately following Standard Operating Procedures to ensure optimal fermentation conditions and process consistency
Monitoring fermentation processes through routine sampling and analysis of fermentation tanks to track progress and maintain quality standards throughout production cycles
Troubleshooting operational challenges by identifying and addressing issues that arise during fermentation, escalating when necessary while developing independence in problem resolution
Maintaining equipment excellence by conducting general maintenance of bioreactor vessels and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and system reliability
Driving continuous improvement by assisting in constructing and improving fermentation processes and equipment, engaging in problem-solving and suggesting enhancements based on market trends and research

Essential Capabilities

Proficiency in English languages for effective communication in our international environment
Hands-on experience with bioreactor operation, media preparation, and fermentation process management
Strong analytical skills for sampling, testing, and monitoring fermentation processes
Technical competence in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting of bioreactor systems
Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures with precision and attention to detail
Experience with fermentation monitoring, quality control, and process optimization

Problem-solving mindset capable of independently identifying and resolving operational challenges while knowing when to escalate complex issues
