Our client, a leading pharmaceutical organisation, are recruiting for a Facility & Maintenance Manager to join their newly assembled team and help contribute towards the development of their next core projects.ResponsibilitiesLead the maintenance strategy across production equipment, cleanrooms, HVAC systems, and site infrastructureDevelop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans, aligned with GMP and EHS standardsOwn and optimise our CMMS system, ensuring accurate asset tracking, work order management, and performance reportingManage critical utilities (WFI, HVAC, compressed air, purified water, etc.) to ensure up time and regulatory complianceCollaborate cross-functionally with Production, Quality, and Validation teams to minimise downtime and optimise throughputOversee contractor management, ensuring safe and compliant execution of third-party workLead root cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment failures and facility deviationsQualificationsDegree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience)Requires extensive experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment, ideally within API or pharmaceutical productionStrong working knowledge of CMMS platforms, technical documentation, and regulatory standardsProven leadership in managing multi-disciplinary teams and external contractorsDeep understanding of EHS, GMP, and validation protocolsExcellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skillsFluency in both Italian and English is essential for effective communication across local and global teams
