Context Travel offers cultural and historical walking tours led by deep subject‑matter experts in over 60 destinations around the world. Our expert guides take clients through in‑depth, thematic topics to help them get to know a city more deeply. The tours are conversation‑driven experiences that are structured, but never scripted.

Requirements

Applicants should hold a higher degree (MA or Ph.D.) in any of the above disciplines or an equivalent credential and/or have licensure to lead tours as required by cities or venues.
An ability to connect with people of all ages is essential, and demonstrated experience working with or teaching children is a plus.
Fluency in English (all our tours are led in English); bonus if you speak another language, especially Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, or Mandarin.
