OverviewIQVIA is a leading global provider of strategic advisory services, innovative technology solutions and contract research services helping healthcare stakeholders finding better solutions for their patients and for the ecosystem.For IQVIA Italy, we are looking for a Evidence Generation Consultant in the local Real World Solutions Team to focus on generating demand of Observational Studies, defining the optimal solutions for customers RWE needs, and remain with an oversight role all along study duration.AccountabilitiesStrategy setting and market buildingContribute to implementing IQVIA’s Real World Evidence vision and objectives, while supporting strategic business developmentIdentify new opportunities for Retro / Prospective Observational Studies mainly involving Primary DataBuild and maintain external stakeholder relationships to promote IQVIA market positioning in Observational Studies and RWEContribute to the development of the IQVIA thought leadership and innovation agendaClient leadership and project deliveryDevelop awareness of IQVIA’s RWE solutions across the assigned Customers PortfolioEngage with customers to map and develop opportunities, and structure high quality business briefs for ClinOp RWE Team) mainly involving Primary Data CollectionEngage with senior leaders across IQVIA RWS & Commercial Principals, Account Directors and GKAMs / EKAMs, to drive growth opportunities for Observational MethodologiesDesign, development and oversight of Observational Studies to the highest quality standards, meeting or exceeding client expectationsCapabilities building and people leadershipResponsibility for effective coordination with peers and professionals beyond hierarchical lines, ensuring collaboration, support and ability to achieve common goalsDesired Skills and ExperienceAt least 2+ year work experience in the RWE / Observational Studies fieldExperience in sales of Observational Studies including interaction with senior clients at HQs level (Clin Operations, Medical Direction, R&D)Ability to manage and guide complex cross functional teams towards a successful project delivery within contractual timelines and budgetUnderstanding of the operational requirements for conducting observational studies: GDPR requirements, ECs requirements, site activation and regulatory requirementsProven ability to advance ambiguous or conceptual needs and engage multiple stakeholders, internal and clients, to decision pointsDeep commercial awareness of the healthcare, health technology and pharmaceutical industry, gained through experienceStrong business skills / acumen; translation of scientific expertise and knowledge to achieve the identified business goals of the companyExcellent business acumen and commercial awareness grounded in demonstrable business development experienceSolid project management experienceProficiency in English, both oral and writtenProficiency in Italian, both oral and writtenStrong communication skills, both oral and writtenAbility to manage multiple projects, juggle priorities and deliver on tight deadlinesAffinity for a collaborative, team-oriented environmentCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsLocationMilan / Modena (hybrid)
