Now, as Four Seasons, this iconic hotel begins a new era, delivering the highest standards of personalized service.About the role:Reporting to the Banqueting and Stewarding Manager, as an Evening Staff Canteen Attendant / Addetto mensa serale, you will be responsible for ensuring the Staff Canteen and dish return areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained. You will oversee waste disposal, replenish food supplies, maintain food displays, and oversee proper storage of goods, reporting any shortages. Working closely with kitchen staff, you will ensure smooth service, high operational standards, and compliance with Health and Safety regulations for a safe, hygienic environment.What You Will Do:Ensure that the Staff Canteen and the dish return areas are always kept clean and orderly, adhering to high hygiene standards.Properly manage waste disposal, ensuring all materials are disposed of in the designated areas according to health and safety regulations.Maintain regular service within the Staff Canteen, ensuring food is replenished in a timely manner and that displays are kept neat and inviting.Manage the storage of food and supplies dedicated to the Staff Canteen, promptly notifying your supervisor of any shortages or issues with the supply.Interact professionally with colleagues, especially with kitchen staff, to collect and deliver food for the team, ensuring smooth operations during service.Work efficiently to ensure the evening canteen service runs smoothly and all staff members are well served.Maintain a high standard of operational efficiency and quality in the service provided to staff members.Comply with all internal policies, especially those related to Health and Safety, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.Address requests from colleagues, ensuring that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.Key Skills & Qualifications:Previous experience in a canteen or food service role is preferred.Knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and waste management.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional attitude towards colleagues.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.Flexibility to work evening shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially regarding food storage and display.Ability to follow procedures and maintain high standards of cleanliness and service.Commitment to upholding Health and Safety regulations and company policies.What you bring:High school diploma.Previous experience in a similar role within the F&B or kitchen environment is preferred.Strong attention to detail, especially regarding cleanliness and waste managementAbility to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to support team members.Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food service environments.Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.What we offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for career growth and development within the company.Complimentary dry cleaning for employee uniforms.Meals available at our employee restaurant.Employee recognition and experience initiatives.Training and professional development opportunities.A dynamic and supportive work environment.Schedule & Hours:Part- time position.Flexible schedule required, including weekends and holidays.Seasonal contract based at the San Domenico Palace in Taormina.Must possess the legal right to work in Italy.This position offers a great opportunity to be part of a prestigious hotel and contribute to its excellent guest service standards.
