Human Rights Youth OrganizationHRYO is hiring: European Project Designer – Part-time (Freelance / VAT)Location: Palermo (Italy) / Hybrid work possibleContract type: Freelance collaboration (VAT required)Commitment: Part-timeAbout usHRYO – Human Rights Youth Organization is a Palermo-based NGO committed to promoting human rights, youth participation, and environmental sustainability through European and international projects.We work within programmes such as Erasmus+, European Solidarity Corps, and other EU initiatives focused on education, inclusion, and community development.Position overviewWe are looking for a European Project Designer with proven experience in EU project writing, management, and reporting, particularly in the educational and youth sectors, to support our team in the development and coordination of new project proposals.Main responsibilitiesDraft and develop European project proposals (Erasmus+, ESC, CERV, Creative Europe, etc.)Coordinate with international partners on activity design and budget planningSupport the operational and administrative management of approved projectsMonitor EU funding opportunities and upcoming calls for proposalsCollaborate with the HRYO team on strategic planning and project developmentRequirementsExcellent command of English (both written and spoken)Proven experience in EU project design and management (minimum 2 years)Strong knowledge of EU funding programmes in the educational, youth, and social sectorsExcellent writing and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and within a teamAvailability for part-time collaboration under a freelance / VAT contractAssets (nice to have)Experience working with NGOs, youth organizations, or the third sectorFamiliarity with EU project management and reporting tools (e.g. Mobility Tool, Beneficiary Module)Knowledge of additional European languagesHow to applySend your CV in English and a short motivation letter (max 1 page) to:
