Then you are the right person to join us as an EPU Manager in Savigliano.Within the Production organization, the EPU (Elementary Production Unit) Manager based in Savigliano will be responsible for the following during project execution:Contributing to supply chain setup, quality plan validation, and industrialization activities within the EPU.Responsible for manufacturing preparation, operator training, hiring requests, and hand-over from PME to manufacturing.Deployment of APSYS (Lean Manufacturing) and continuous improvement of SQCD performance.Managing issues, executing product changes, and supporting first train/product manufacturing.The hierarchical manager of operators in the EPU will be responsible for:Time management and ensuring compliance with local legislation.Occupational safety, including contractor safety.Development of operators' qualifications and adherence to corporate policies.Competencies & SkillsProfound knowledge of Special Processes.Working knowledge of industrial management, processes from engineering to delivery, manufacturing technologies, and configuration & change management.Basic awareness of automation, site facilities, transfer of technology, ergonomics.Profound knowledge of team management, EHS rules, lean management tools, and Italian language.Working knowledge of supply chain, quality processes, product knowledge, and social/labor laws.Basic awareness of finance, sourcing, and digital tools for manufacturing management.Alstom values inquisitive and innovative people passionate about reinventing mobility to make it smarter and more sustainable.
