It employs approximately 3.000 top-notch researchers, engineers and scientists eager to resolve challenges and provide knowledge in order to support EU policies in a variety of areas from agriculture and food security, to environment and climate change, as well as nuclear safety, security and growth.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and perform quality control of EU and national statistical datasets (e.g., database of production and consumption of food, material flow analysis).Support the analysis and modeling of food waste generation and related supply chains with material flow analysis tools, LCA software and ad hoc developed tools.QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of higher education and 4 years of professional experience on top of studies.Environmental specialist with significant experience in statistical and data analysis software for environmental data analysis and food or bacteria related datasets.Good knowledge of LCA analysis and relevant tools (SimaPro, Gambi, etc).Proficiency in the use of statistical analysis (R, MatLab, etc) tools is required.Knowledge of material flow analysis software.Knowledge of software for rendering (e.g. Autocad).Excellent and advanced Knowledge of Microsoft office package, especially excel.Good writing and presentation skills in English.Capability of working in an international / multicultural environment and working in team.
