Job Title : Environmental Compliance SpecialistAvoidance of environmental harm through management of supplied components and materials is the primary objective of this role.Main Responsibilities :The compilation and maintenance of IMDS declarations for automotive customers' components are integral to this position.Ensuring adherence to REACH regulations (EC Regulation 1907 / 2006) is a key responsibility.Monitoring regulatory changes, particularly SVHC, to keep data on restricted substances up-to-date is crucial.Collecting and validating compliance declarations from suppliers is an essential aspect of this job.Collaboration with the technical department for material analysis and substance classification is necessary.Supporting the supply chain in communicating environmental practices to customers is also required.Independently managing the IMDS portal, including code creation, is an important duty.Providing internal training and technical support on environmental compliance is another vital aspect.Required Qualifications :Techncial diploma or degree, preferably in Chemistry, Materials Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or similar.Basic experience in compiling and managing IMDS and REACH documentation in the automotive field.Excellent knowledge of REACH and RoHS regulations.Operational knowledge of the IMDS platform.Good understanding of technical drawings and materials used in mechanical / plastic components.Strong command of Office software, especially Excel, and enterprise management systems.Key Skills :Methodical and detail-oriented approach.Ability to read and interpret regulations and technical documentation.Precision, reliability, and ability to work independently.Effective communication skills for interfacing with customers, suppliers, and certification bodies.Teamwork skills and ability to operate in regulated environments.
