We strive to lead thechange in the way Australians think about ageing, recognising‘old age’ as a positive force in society and giving avoice to those who have seen it all and live to tell the tale.We are seeking a dynamic & experienced EnrolledNurses to join our team at Bethanie Como (99 bed) facilitylocated in Como.This role is currently available on a permanent parttime basis, 25.75 hours a week working the followingshifts:Week 1: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday – 7am to3pmWeek 2, Friday & Saturday 7am to 3pm, Sunday 3pm to10pmIf you share a passion for person-centred care services andpromoting a positive ageing experience for older people, we wouldlove to hear from you!About YouCurrently registered with the Australian HealthPractitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an EnrolledNursePrevious experience in an aged care environment or withdementia care is an advantage, but is not essentialAbility to work independently and professionallyAbility to motivate staff and promote a positive workenvironmentStrong written and verbal communication skills and abilityto confidently use clinical information systemsWillingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of TheBethanie GroupWillingness to obtain relevant vaccinations – 1xCOVID vaccinations and annual flu vaccinationCurrent National Police Clearance (or willingness to applyfor one)Current CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)Current NDIS Worker’s Screening Check (or willingnessto apply for one)The RoleCarrying out personal care plans in consultation with andunder the supervision of a Registered NurseConsulting with a Registered Nurse in planning care on ashift basisAssisting in assessing residents and ensuring alldocumentation is up to date and in accordance with companyrequirementsContributing to the physical, emotional and lifestyle needsand wants of residentsCommunicating effectively with a variety of stakeholdersand contributing to teamwork within the workplaceParticipating in ongoing learning and development, bothindividually and as part of a larger teamWorking with BethanieMany of us work because we want to make a difference.
