Key Responsibilities
The Maintenance Engineer is a part of a team of 60 FTEs including all the Factory production.
The Maintenance Engineer report directly to Maintenance Manager and collaborates with the manufacturing and engineering teams, focusing on technical elimination of losses and waste on the production lines and is involved in continuous improvement projects. The Maintenance Engineer is essential in the Run to Standard approach, as one of the three key roles foreseen by this methodology. Working directly with the line crews daily and Maintenance coordinator to support in phenomena identification, root cause analysis and the establishment of countermeasures. Finally, the Maintenance Engineer working whit the team for the implementation of all technical improvements and the establishment of revised basic conditions on the line.
Experiences & Qualifications
What You Need to Succeed

Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities by evaluating a preventive or corrective maintenance strategy based on cost / benefit priorities
Ensure compliance with the Integrated Management System (quality, environment, health and safety at work) procedures and documents related to job responsibilities;
Develop maintenance procedures and program ensure implementation;
Working to grow up Safety Improvements into Machinery Safety matters;
Working to implement UMS Unilever Manufacturing Standards on Professional Maintenance. Tackling losses by using UMS Tools (Kaizen, RCA, EWO) based on cost deployment priorities;
Attendance on daily meetings in line with Run to Standard approach;
Track metrics to discover areas for improvement and monitor upgrades;
Support the Implementation of the KPI(s), collect and analyze processing performance data for the continuous improvement;
Use process knowledge to help develop and deliver novel products and processes for new consumer offerings and provide strategic supply chain advantage;

Working on the implementation of digital innovations and projects.
Skills
Engineering Master’s Degree. Preferably in Industrial or Mechanical

Extremely well-organized, precise and able to multi-task with excellent prioritizing and time-management skills;
Proactive, self-motivated and able to act as a team player;
Fast learner, open minded and growth mindset;
Having a “Can Do” attitude and result oriented;
Strong problem solving and creative thinking skills and attention to details, data driven (uses data to support recommendation);

English proficiency and Italian mother language.
