Our client, a leading company in the Space and Defence sector, is seeking an Embedded Software Developer to join their Instruments and Payloads Business Unit.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design and development of next-generation on-board and on-ground systems for satellite-based sensing solutions.
Embedded Software Engineer – responsibilities

Design robust sequential and object-oriented C/C++ software applications for RTOS and Linux embedded systems
Develop and debug device drivers in both kernel and user space
Build custom embedded Linux OS for heterogeneous multiprocessing SoC devices
Perform signal analysis using laboratory instruments (Spectrum Analyzer, Oscilloscope, VNA, etc.)

Embedded Software Engineer – background

Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming
Experience developing applications on Linux OS or RTOS
Hands-on experience with real-time systems
Proficiency with laboratory instruments
Familiarity with communication buses and networking protocols
