Electrical Tunnel Installations Engineer
We are looking for an Electrical Installations Engineer to join the team of infrastructure Technical Area at our Madrid offices.
At IDOM, you will participate in national and international projects, working in a multidisciplinary environment that exposes you to the latest technologies and best practices.
Responsibilities

Design and calculation of electrical and lighting installations.
Perform electrical studies, load flow analysis, short‑circuit calculations, selectivity and protection coordination studies, etc.
Coordinate with other disciplines during the various phases of project design and construction.
Develop engineering documents such as design reports, calculation reports, schematic diagrams, single‑line diagrams, layout plans, etc.
Communicate and coordinate with the BIM/CAD modeling team.
Prepare data sheets and technical specifications for equipment, including contacting suppliers and vendors.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
5 to 10 years of experience designing medium and low voltage installations and lighting systems; experience in tunnel or infrastructure projects is a plus.
Proficiency in electrical and lighting design tools (Caneco, ETAP, EPLAN, Dialux, Relux, etc.).
Experience working in a BIM environment.
Ability to work independently with a flair for innovation.
Advanced level of English.
