San Clemente Palace Venice is looking for an Electric Technician.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site position in Venice. The Electric Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting electrical issues to ensure continuous system operation, performing daily electrical tasks, and maintaining machinery and equipment throughout the hotel.Your ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and resolve electrical problems to maintain system functionality;Perform routine electrical maintenance and repairs;Maintain laundry, kitchen equipment, HVAC units, motors, pumps, fans, water purification systems, electrical generators, lighting, telephones, televisions, fire safety systems, and security equipment;Use electrical testing tools to locate and identify faults;Conduct preventive maintenance according to quality standards;Assist with the placement and maintenance of fire protection equipment;Be familiar with hotel emergency and fire alarm procedures;Report supply issues and equipment deficiencies to management;Keep detailed records of equipment usage and performance indicators;Inspect equipment, identify issues, and resolve them promptly;Use repair tools carefully and responsibly;Propose improvements and innovations to existing electrical systems;Prepare spare parts lists based on departmental needs;Be aware of annual and periodic maintenance schedules;Perform repairs and maintenance throughout the hotel area;Participate in training sessions and apply new knowledge;Coordinate high-level maintenance tasks for guests and staff;Identify and repair electrical faults using schematics;Assist hotel staff and guests courteously;Maintain and repair equipment in guest rooms, public, and back-of-house areas;Ensure the safe storage and use of electrical equipment;Complete assigned tasks efficiently in line with hotel standards;Report lost and found items to supervisors;Maintain professional appearance as per hotel policies;Properly use PPE and adhere to safety protocols;Follow hotel conduct rules;Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor;Install and repair electrical motors, transformers, generators, circuits, wires, and other electrical components;Understand basic labor organization, safety, and production norms.QualificationsMinimum of 3 years relevant experience;Fluent in Italian and English;Graduated from a technical school related to electrical, electronics, refrigeration, steam generation, HVAC, or plumbing;Knowledge of electrical equipment structure, operation, and safety rules;Basic mechanical skills in plumbing, carpentry, and technical maintenance;Ability to work independently and responsibly;Knowledge of technical equipment;Ability to work well in a team;Willingness to learn and develop professionally;High accuracy and attention to detail.If qualified, please apply through LinkedIn.Additional InformationSeniority level: Entry levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Management and ManufacturingIndustry: Hospitality
