The ELECTRICAL PROJECT DESIGNER, part of the Automation & Software Engineer department, collaborates with colleagues on the electrical design of systems, ensuring technical support and compliance with deadlines and project guidelines.
Main activities

Creating electrical diagrams for mechatronic systems and machinery (using EPLAN Electric P8)
Electrical panel design, wiring, and electrical component layout
Creation of bills of materials and related technical documentation
Support in managing changes and revisions to existing projects
Development and updating of component libraries in EPLAN

Development and updating of component libraries in EPLAN

Interface with colleagues in technical departments to acquire input necessary for project development
Gathering of technical specifications and customer requirements
Collaboration with external electrical design supplier

Interface with purchasing office for materials procurement

Support to the production / assembly department for the wiring of electrical panels and during testing

Required skills and attitudes

Diploma in electrical engineering or degree in electrical / electronic engineering
At least 1 / 2 years of previous experience with electrical diagrams on board machines and electrical panels, preferably with EPLAN
Knowledge of mechatronic manufacturing processes, electrical regulations and industry standards is preferred
Proficiency in using electrical design software, preferably EPLAN
Knowledge of electrical and electronic components
Regulatory knowledge of electrical diagrams (CEI, IEC, UL, etc.)
Good knowledge of the English language
Availability to travel
Good knowledge of the Office package
Good knowledge and expertise in the use of the main design software

Grade and salary : to be defined based on the experience and seniority of the selected candidate (National Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Metalworking and Industrial Sector).
