OverviewWe are actively recruiting for our Milan office an Electrical Expert (EE) for the Energy Sector.ResponsibilitiesTaking the leadership on the whole project cycle, from the definition of the scope according to the client needs to the successful delivery of the required output;Managing the interaction with the client nurturing the relationship and generating new opportunities;Dealing with subcontractors for any relevant aspect;Cooperating effectively with the other team members to accomplish each assignment within deadline and budget;Proactively disseminating lessons learnt within the team and promptly understanding whether other opportunities can be identified;Delivering reports / proposals in line with Stantec’s quality standards;Assuring during the entire project cycle the adherence to Stantec’s Health and Safety standards;QualificationsMaster’s degree in electrical engineer.At least 8 years of relevant working experience in the energy sector, preferably in consultancy / engineering companies with experience in renewable (PV and / or wind and / or Hydro) and / or BES.Grid connection works and permitting experience.Previous experience in preparation of feasibility studies, design and permitting documents for authorization of energy plants and / or battery storage.Familiarity with Italian permitting legislation (AU, EIA, etc.).Flexibility, curiosity, strong team working attitude and proactivity are a must.Previous experience in other business fields and client attitude are a plus.Strong verbal and written communications skills.Excellent command of Italian and English.Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.Knowledge of ETAP or NEPLAN is a must.Previous international experience will be an added value.Availability to business trips worldwide, short / medium periods, is a requirement.Employment DetailsEmployment Type: Full-TimeJob Type: RegularJob Category: IT / ISAbout StantecWe’re active members of the communities we serve.
