We value local expertise and empower our partners, with a presence in over 16 countries across Europe & North America.Greenvolt Power Italy is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to contribute directly to the design and execution of renewable energy projects. This role involves participating in the design, supervision, and construction of large-scale renewable initiatives, mainly focusing on solar PV, onshore wind, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).Key accountabilitiesProvide engineering advice and technical support for the design and construction of large-scale renewable energy projects, focusing on solar PV, onshore wind, and BESS.Review project design drawings and participate in discussions with designers and BOP Contractors.Assist in tendering processes (RFQ/RFP) by defining technical requirements and design specifications.Support the preparation and management of documentation needed to start construction on time.Coordinate with procurement to prepare technical documentation and scope for bidding processes.Plan project steps to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective construction of solar PV, wind, and BESS projects.Supervise that during construction, all permits and regulatory requirements are met.Report project status, identify potential risks, and recommend solutions to the Board.Oversee payment approvals and document preparations in line with project schedules.Coordinate information flow within the Development Team and with other departments such as Accounting, Legal, Procurement, Tax, HSE & Quality.Manage technical, schedule, safety, and quality issues during construction.Engage with stakeholders during grid connection processes.Collaborate with EPC contractors to resolve construction design issues.QualificationsEngineering degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering.5-6 years of experience in renewable energy projects, mainly PV and wind farm construction.Knowledge of components and technical equipment used in large-scale wind, solar PV, and high-voltage systems.Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Project, MS Office, WindPro, Wasp, PVsyst.Willingness to travel across Italy for project needs.Understanding of local regulations for grid connection.Negotiation and problem-solving skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Analytical skills and ability to interpret project design drawings.Proficiency in English (written and spoken).Teamwork and reporting skills.We aim for an energy transition accessible to everyone, from everyone!
