The Sr. Grid Project Engineer will be responsible for managing all stages of HV grid connection design for renewable energy projects in Italy.Key ResponsibilitiesHV Grid Connection DesignManage ICX (Interconnection) process.Supervise and optimize conceptual, schematic, and detailed HV grid designs.Prepare calculations, technical specifications, and drawings.Project Budgeting & PlanningDevelop the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for designs.Technical SupportProvide engineering input for site evaluations and characterizations.Internal & External CoordinationCoordinate with internal departments : Site & Permitting, Procurement, O&M.Collaborate with external consultants to secure ICX permits and achieve construction and energization milestones.Stakeholder ManagementRepresent the company in meetings and negotiations with :ClientsConsultantsUtilities (ENEL, TERNA)Regulatory authoritiesRequirementsEducationBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory)Master’s degree in Photovoltaics, Renewable Energy, or related field (preferred)ExperienceMinimum 8 years in MV / HV electromechanical design (substations and UG / OH lines)At least 5 years in HV solution design and interconnection processes (aligned with Italian standards and ENEL / TERNA procedures)LanguagesProficiency in English and Italian (required)Technical SkillsProficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)ETAP simulation software (desirable)
